Shaksi World Association Charitable Trust - Self Employment Training Institute(SWACT-SETI)

About 1(one) crore of people from Odisha working outside the state. Shows majority of them are in unskilled jobs as they did not have basic skill in any activity. Such migration is continuing unabated because there is no major economic activity in Odisha which can sustain even a small fraction of such a large number of workforces.

A major role in building up basic skills among vast numbers of poor rural women from different parts of Odisha/India, so that, if they migrate for work else ware, they can earn better instead of working mealy as a laborer or doing other menial jobs. Further, those who stay back can do some better quality of work and help eradicate poverty. If they succeed in self-employment, they will provide part time, casual, temporary employment to some others.

SWACT Self Employment Training Institute (SETI) an institute of Odisha conducting residential training programme of 6 to 15 days duration’s skilled home nursing attendant practical training cum on job 100% economically placement with future endovers .
